| Explore the Dreams of Freedom Immigration Museum exhibits, Boston's only educational immigration experience. The exhibit celebrates the important role that immigration has played in shaping this unique city. Boston is one of the world's most culturally diverse cities, with one out of every three residents born abroad, and a population that speaks over 140 different languages.
For school groups, the Skywalk is an exceptional spot for a class field trip. Not only do children of all ages find the view from 750 feet in the air to be truly exhilarating, but teachers become equally excited by the vast array of enriching and interactive exhibits that showcase Boston's cultural history.
The Skywalk is proud of Boston's world-wide reputation as an international center of education, and we are excited to work with educators and provide materials that will help make their field trip as engaging and informative as possible. The Dreams of Freedom museum exhibits were designed to meet Massachusetts curriculum standards, and are age appropriate for elementary, middle, and high school students.
All visitors to the Skywalk Observatory are invited to take a personalized tour of the city with our antenna audio tour handsets, which offer two versions of the tour: one for children and one for adults. School groups can conclude their tour of the Skywalk by enjoying our state of the art movie theatre, which continually runs two short films: "Wings Over Boston," an up-close feel of the entire city, and "Dreams of Freedom," a multi-media journey through time.
Besides being one of Boston's top tourist attractions, the Skywalk Observatory is a fun way for students of all ages to celebrate the diverse culture of Boston.
